Zoo code Actaeon and Hobbes' v1.6

Introduction (read this first!)

●  This zoo code model is divided into sections. Sections are separated by spaces. Example:

Zm/Hb/Db M pHm/Df a30~ y14 US-MT vg3/2 r2 m1 rl2

●  Except for the first section (sexual and amorous orientation), the second section (medical condition and other adversities), and the country code, all sections begin with one or two lowercase letters that are used to identify them. So for example, the section that starts with a y is for how young you were when you discovered you were a zoo (age when you started), while the p is for pets you have (pets and other owned animals).

●  If a section begins with two repeated lowercase letters it means something special. For example, a section for pets that starts with pp would mean that you live surrounded in pets (you have a farm for example).

●  Except for the country code, any capital letter inside a section mentions an animal. So for example any D you see in the sections makes reference to dogs, while any H makes reference to horses or ponies. A p followed by a D then would mean that you have a pet which is a dog.

pD

●  Within the sections we sometimes use a diagonal bar, /, to separate information. For example, if you have as pets a dog and a small cat (or house cat), you write it like this:

pD/SC

●  Codes can have few, many, or all sections, whatever the user likes. They can also have few values attributed to the sections for easy read (like the example in the main page), or many values for a complete description. However it may be, sections should be arranged in order as they appear in this page.

●  Since this model for the zoo code can be very lengthy and elaborate, you can stop reading and come back whenever. If you hesitate on a particular section, you can check the list at the right, which will link you directly to the desired sections. Sit back and enjoy.

Symbols

Special characters to remember before you start

X  The X letter serves to replace numbers that you don't want to show, but that can't be omitted for functional reasons. For an absence of numbers where giving the information isn't necessary, choose not to write that section of code.

For example, this zoo wants to tell at what age he discovered he was a zoo, but he doesn't want to tell at what age he had his first sexual encounter with an animal. Therefore, he will have to put an X where he ought to write that number:

y16/26  →  y16/X

He could not have written alone at what age he discovered he was a zoo, like in this code, because that would have meant he has never had any sexual encounter with an animal:

y16

For example, this zoo doesn't want to give his age. In this case, removing the number doesn't affect the structure of the code, so he shouldn't write this section of code at all:

a32  →

( )  Parentheses can be added after a quantifier value and with a different value in them to indicate a range.

For example, this zoo's fence-hopping activity ranges from never to occasionally:

h0(1)

Sexual and amorous orientation

 Gender and attraction specification additives
Zm  If you wish to specify your gender, do so with a lowercase m (male) or f (female) right after the Z.
  Zg

If you wish to specify your sexual orientation, do so with a lowercase g (gay), b (bisexual) or h (hetero). Following the Z it means orientation towards humans, following an animal letter it means orientation towards that animal.

Only in the case of orientation towards humans you can write instead of g, b, or h, a #, which means that you are zoo exclusive (you feel attracted only towards animals, not towards humans).

Z%  Only after the place for orientation towards humans you can write %. This means that you can be intimate with animals and with other zoos or zoo-friendlies, but not with humans who don't like zoophilia or bestiality.
Z!  An exclamation mark ! after the specifications means that you have preference for that species (after the Z, preference for humans).

Use symbols as shown in the table above. For example, this zoo is female and bisexual with humans:

Zfb

This zoo is male, is gay with humans, and he feels more attracted to male humans than to any other species:

Zmg!

This zoo is female and hetero with humans, she feels she can only be intimate with zoos or zoo-friendlies, and she feels most attracted to these kind of people than to any other species:

Zfh%!

This zoo is male, and he only feels attracted to animals:

Zm#

Obviously, writing the symbol % or the symbol ! right after # would be incoherent.

  Animal letters
  B  Bears
  BC  Big Cats
  BD  Birds
  C  Cattle
  DD  Deer
  D  Dogs
DL  Dolphins or other mammal aquatic species
  DK  Donkeys and mules
  F  Foxes
FS  Fish or other non-mammal aquatic species
  G  Goats
  H  Horses or ponies
  L  Lamas or other camelids
  M  Mustelids (weasels, otters, ....)
  P  Pigs
  RB  Rabbits
  RC  Raccoons
  RP  Reptiles
  S  Sheep
  SC  Small Cats
  W  Wolves

 For the hesitant ones
?  Zoo of undecided species. You know you are a zoo, but you are not sure what species you feel most attracted to.
AT  Zoo of All Trades. For those who feel attracted to every species more or less equally.
&  Zoo of an animal which is not on the list. Before using the symbol & think of sending us the species not included on the list and we will add it.
0  Not attracted to any species (you are not a zoo but a zoo friendly).

Animal letters are always uppercase. Any other letter used in the code (except the initial Z, the X symbol, the medical condition and other adversities section, and the location section) will be written in lowercase to avoid confusing it with an animal from the list.

You have to say which species you are attracted to, adding letters from the animal list or symbols from the list for the hesitant ones. For example, this zoo is female, and she is attracted to goats:

Zf/G

Notice that between species we have written a diagonal bar. This helps to interpret the code faster. In this model for the zoo code, every time we include another species in our code, we write a diagonal bar to separate. This is also done in other sections, when we have to create long chains of related information.

This zoo is also female, but she is zoo bisexual with dogs and zoo hetero with pigs:

Zf/Db/Ph

This zoo is exclusive (he is only interested in animals, not in humans). He is zoo of horses or ponies, he feels most attracted to horses or ponies than to any others species, and he is also a zoo of donkeys or mules and zoo bisexual of dogs:

Z#/H!/DK/Db

Obviously, having a g or an h anywhere in this last code wouldn't have given us meaningful information, since the zoo doesn't mention his gender.

Note for the promiscuous ones: please don't add more than three or four animals to the list. You clever bastards!

The next zoo is male and hetero with humans. He feels he can only be intimate with zoo or zoo-friendly women. He feels attracted to all species equally, he is bisexual with all of them, and he feels more attracted to animals than to humans:

Zmh%/ATb!

Love attachment and sexual disposition

This new section of the code works in conjunction with the animals you specified earlier on. You have to choose your level of zooishness, that is, your love for the specified species, and your sexual disposition for them (in a scale from - to 4). The degree of love and sex disposition you give should be the one for the general species, not for your preferred mate. Sex here can have any meaning, from hand jobs, to oral, to penetrative, to dirty.

Love
4I have a profound passionate affection for them. I live to serve them. They are integral to my very existence.
3I feel deep affection for them, and a genuine interest in their well-being. They are very important to me.
2I am quite attached to them. They give me a feeling of tenderness. If they are not happy I kind of worry.
1Jolly cute creatures they are. I like to have them around.
0I'm not emotionally affected by them.
-I find them disturbing.

Sex
4Oh yeah baby! I'm all for sex sex sex!!
3Sex with them is so much fun!
2I enjoy sex with them occasionaly.
1I massage their genitals if they ask me...
0I do not have sex with them at all.
-I think having sex with them is disgusting.

For example, the female zoo who previously told us about her interest on dogs and pigs. She is quite attached to dogs, and enjoys having sex with them. She feels different about pigs though, she thinks they are nice, but she's more interested in them for sex, which gives her much pleasure:

Zf/Db22/Ph13

This is the male zoo we mentioned before, the one who is attracted to all species. He really lives for the animals, he is very deeply attached to them, but he doesn't have sex with them at all:

Zmh%/ATb!40

You can also use this range of love and sex disposition to show your attitude towards humans if you wish. The comming male zoo is zoo exclusive, he finds humans disturbing, and thinks having sex with them is disgusting. He is only interested in wolves, for whom he lives:

Zm#--/W4X

Notice that he didn't make mention of sexual attractions, and that he used X to show that he doesn't want to state his sexual disposition towards wolves (check special characters to remember before you start if you haven't already).

Medical condition and other adversities

This is not a section to be joked about. If you are physically disabled, you have a chronic illness or you are going through a lengthy medical treatment that prevents you from having satisfactory relationships (wheelchair user, fibromyalgia, etc.), write an M in your code. If you cannot have satisfactory relationships because of a strict restrictive environment that is permanent or could last many years, such as being involuntarily inmersed in fanatisms, imprisoned, or if you suffer prosecution, write a P in your code. If both, you should write MP. Lack of parental emancipation does not count as lengthy restrictive environment.

For example, the previous male zoo who doesn't have sex with animals at all is unable to have satisfactory relationships due to medical reasons:

Zmh%/ATb!40 M

Mates

Mates are animals with whom you have a special bond. Mates are amongst the most important things in life for a zoo, if not the most important. For this reason, the mates section can be the longest one in one's zoo code.

For a start, write a lowercase m followed by the animal mates you have. For example, this zoo has a horse mate and a dog mate:

Zm/H32/D21 mH/D

If you feel differently for your mates than for the rest of animals of that same species, you can add the love and sex gradient to the animal letter:

Zm/H32/D21 mH42/D

You can also add a number before the animal letter so as to state that you have more than one mate of that species...

Zm/H32/D21 m2H42/D

...or an m or an f to mention their gender:

Zm/H32/D21 m2H42/Df

Zm/H32/D21 mHm42/Hf43/Df

If you wish to specify whether you are in a long-term relationship or a short-term relationship with your mates (optional), write a lowercase l or an s after the place for the love and sex gradient. For example:

Zm/H32/D21 m2Hm42s/Dfl

If you are not the legal owner of your mates, you should add a lowercase i (for illegal, not necessarily but easy to remember) at the end of the symbols for the mates which aren't yours. For example:

Zm/H32/D21 m2H42si/Dfl

Also, it might happen that for some of your mates you fence-hop. In this case, you can use the fence-hopping section within your mates' specifications putting it inside square brackets. For example:

Zm/H32/D21 m2H42s[h1/1]/Dfl

Notice that in case that you fence-hop to meet some of your mates, there is no need to clarify that you are not their legal owner by putting an i, since it's already obvious.

If you don't have any mates, write 0 after the m:

Zm/H32/D21 m0

In case that you have many mates, please understand that readability should be the priority. Don't write them all down if it will make your code too lengthy.

Crazy in love

How far would you go to show that you are in love with your mates? lv, followed by a quantifier value.

5  I am not afraid to tell a complete stranger I am deeply in love with my mate(s). I will shout it from a street corner for all to hear.
4  Yes, yes, yes! I have fallen in love, I am in love, I love and I am able to claim it out loud, but I do not say it openly except to special people.
3  *whispers* Yes, I am in love... psst! (You may have to tempt me to admit it openly.)
2  If this is not love, what is? (I won't deny it, but won't admit it either.)
1  Let me think... (Not prepared to go that far.)
  0  *raised eyebrow* I don't love my mate(s).

For example, this male zoo is so crazy in love with his mates he would shout it from a street corner for all to hear:

Zm lv5

Pets and other owned animals

Do you have any pets? A lowercase p, followed by the pets you have and how many of them. For example:

p3D/2BD/4FS/1S

If you own a farm or a safari, please don't write down all your animals! Put a double p instead of one single p, and mention some of the animals you have if you wish:

ppH/P/BD

If the animals you own you already noted them in the mates section because they are your mates, you don't need to write them down again in this section. For example, this zoo has two dogs:

mHfi/Dm/Df

If you own no animals, write a 0 after the p:

p0

Notice that if you have no animals, all mates should have an i added to them in the mates section (or have a fence-hopping section attached to them).

Age

aa followed by the two last digits of your birth year. For example:

aa82

You can also display your age directly in years by writing one single a instead:

a24

Those who do not want to give their exact age or birth year can add a tilde, ~, at the end:

aa80~

a25~

Age when you started

A lowercase y, the age in which you discovered you where a zoo, and the age in which you had your first sexual encounter with an animal. For example:

y13/15

You can also give the approximate age by adding a ~ after each number, if you don't want to give the exact age or if you don't remember it well:

y11~/16~

If you have never had a sexual encounter with an animal, you can leave the code with one value alone:

y11~

If you hadn't thought of having sexual encounters with animals until you saw on the web that it was possible, write a w after the ages or instead of the ages:

y30~/35~/w

yw

Totem

For those who feel a spiritual or mystic connection to some animal species, you can use this section to make it clear. A lowercase t, followed by the animal letter, and then the age in which you realized (if you wish):

tC/17

Notice that we place a diagonal bar between the two pieces of information to avoid confusing the numbers with the love and sex ranges.

Real life zoo experiences

A lowercase e, followed by a quantifier value meaning how many zoo experiences you have had with animals.

3  I've made sex with them frequently. I have had fondling and playing with them more times than I can count.
2  I've made sex with them, but not frequently. There has been much cuddling though.
1  I haven't made sex with them. Still, there has been some fondling.
0  Nothing more than a hug or a kiss if ever, little snuggling I'm afraid.

For example, this zoo has had no sex with animals, but has fondling experience:

e1

If you wish to give different values for different animals, you can do so. In this case, if there is one last value not associated with any animal letter, it is the value associated to other unnamed animals:

e3D/2H/1

Also, if one or more animals have -on their own initiative- made blatantly sexual overtures to you (within that animal's corporal expression standards), add an asterisk after that species' letter.

e3D*/2H*/1

Fence-hopping

Fence-hopping is sneaking into someone else's property in order to have a date with an animal. It doesn't necessarily mean there is a fence involved; simply that you're willing to trespass.

Write a lowercase h, followed by a quantifier value of how much you fence-hop, and another value for how much risk you take if you do fence-hop.

 Frecuency of fence-hopping
 2 I fence-hop regularly.
 1 I fence-hop occasionally.
 0 I don't fence-hop.
 - I don't fence-hop, I am against fence-hopping.

 Risk involved
3 I brave land mines, razor ribbon, armed guards, and a prison sentence if necessary.
2 As long as I think I can outrun the landowner, I'm not terribly worried about being seen.
1 I fence-hop only when the risk is minimal.

For example, this zoo fence-hops occasionally, only when the risk is minimal:

h1/1

For example, this zoo doesn't fence-hop, he is against fence-hopping:

h-

Looking for a mate?

Are you looking for a mate? lowercase d (for dating), followed by a quantifier value that represents your situation, and a lowercase l for long-term relationship or a lowercase s for short-term relationship if you wish.

3  I am very actively (desperately?) searching for a new mate. I'm open to suggestions.
2  I am actively searching for a new mate, but am taking my time, doing it casually or methodically.
1  I'm not actively looking for a new mate, but I won't turn one down if the opportunity arises.
0  I am not looking for a new mate at all, I am already satisfied with my current relationship(s) or I can't have a (new) partner for some reason.

For example, this zoo is not looking for a (new) mate:

d0

This other zoo, however, is wildly interested in new short-term mates:

d3s

Though the previous code is correct, it doesn't give critical information about what type of mate you want. If you are interested in a mate, you should always use animal letters in this section to specify the species you're interested in:

d3Ds/3Hs

If you are interested in a new mate that will be legally owned by you, you should write an o instead of l or s:

d2Do

If you are interested in a human mate, you can write a lowercase h for humans:

d1hl/0

Of course, a final number not associated with any animal letter means your disposition to have other types of mates not listed.

Location

Place where you live, using the official location codes in capital letters. For example:

AUS

You can look at the codes for location in the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 and ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 (ISO 3166 in Wikipedia). In some large countries there is also abbreviations for the subdivisions of the country.

Vegetarianism

A vg, followed by the food diet you have, and then your view on diet diversity (if you wish).

 Own diet
4 I am wholely vegetarian. I don't feed on animal derived products.
3 I am vegetarian, and feed on animal derived products such as eggs, honey or milk.
2 I am vegetarian, and feed on animal derived products, but make exceptions now and then.
 1 I am an omnivore.
0 I am mostly or at all times a carnivore.

 View on diet diversity
3 I can't stand other people's diets, I know my diet is the right one and will argue about it every time I have the chance.
2 I wish others would change their diet to the one I have (or to a similar one), but I respect other people's decisions on their diet.
1 I am happy with any diet people choose to have, it's their decision. I'm not really bothered by it.

For example, this zoo is lacto-ovo-vegetarian, and would like others to have a vegetarian diet as well, but respects their decisions:

vg3/2

Animal rights

An r, followed by your view on animal rights.

4 I am an active advocate for animal rights.
3 I am an advocate for animal rights, but my level of activism depends on individual issues.
2 I am not an animal rights activist, but I have a strong opinion on animal rights.
1 I don't have an opinion on animal rights, but I understand the different positions.
0 I couldn't care less about animal rights.

For example, this zoo is not an animal rights activist, but has a strong opinion on them:

r2

Mutilation

An mu, followed by your view on regular mutilation of animals for debatably useful purposes (rare extreme medical cases apart).

3 I believe it is right to mutilate most animals so as to make life easier or make animals better-looking. I approve any docking of tails, clipping of ears, neutering, or similar mutilations.
2 I dislike the idea of mutilating animals, but I'm not terribly against it.
1 I have no strong opinion regarding the matter.
0 More emphasis should be placed on the owner's responsibility. Mutilating should be considered a last resort: cutting off body parts is unnecessary, and alternative methods of population control (not neutering) are to be promoted.
 - Mutilating is an abomination. Educate people on how to live with animals responsibly as they are. If they don't know how to care properly for an animal, they shouldn't have one in the first place.

For example, this zoo is very much against the mutilation of animals:

mu-

Reverence for life

An rl, followed by how much you value animal life. Notice that the vegetarianism section covers the reverence for life in your food diet already, so this section excludes animals as food.

4 I refuse to take the life of an animal, under any circumstances, even to save the lives of people or animals that are important to me. I would swerve my car to avoid hitting an animal, even if it meant endangering myself or other drivers.
3 I would take an animal's life if and only if failure to do so is likely to result in death or serious injury to someone or something I care about. I am quite distressed when I hit an animal with my car, no matter how small that animal may be. If I find an insect in my home, I ignore it or release it outside.
2 I avoid taking life whenever possible, but may make exceptions for certain insects and other "creepy crawlies", some potentially harmful or poisonous animals, or for food. I feel much worse running into a mammal or bird than I do if a moth flies into my headlight, though I still feel sorry for the moth.
1 My reverence for life is centered around certain kinds of animals, especially those with whom I am intimate. I lament running over large animals, but I barely blink about swatting flies and such.

For example, this zoo doesn't mind swatting flies:

rl1

Knowledge of animal anatomy and behaviour

A k, followed by your knowledge on animal anatomy, and your knowledge on animal behaviour.

 Anatomy
3 I know from extensive research (hands-on or otherwise) what every part is for, what to do with it, and what not to do with it. I can give sage advice to newcomers.
2 I consider myself quite knowledgable about animal anatomy in general, especially with species with whom I'm intimate, though I would not consider myself an expert.
1 I'm familiar with the anatomy of the animals I encounter most often, but beyond that I'd just be making educated guesses based on what I know of other species.
0 Let's see: his mouth at the front, his sausage at the rear. What else do you need to know?

 Behaviour
3 I have a degree in ethology, zoology, or some other biological science, and am very familiar with general animal behavior, even with species with whom I'm not intimate. I can give sage advice to newcomers.
2 I consider myself quite knowledgable about animal behaviour in general, especially with species with whom I'm intimate, though I would not consider myself an expert.
1 I'm familiar with the behavior of the animals I encounter most often, but beyond that I'd just be making educated guesses based on what I know of other species.
0 If he wags his tail that means he's happy, right?

For example, this zoo knows only the basics on animal anatomy, but is well-versed on animal behaviour:

k1/2

Urges and self-control

A u, followed by how much you can control your sexual desire.

3 I'd do anything, anytime, anywhere, with any species. If it can't outrun me, you'd better lock it up!
2 It's hard to hold myself back when I see an animal I like. I've occasionally embarrassed myself in public because I couldn't keep my mouth shut or my hands to myself. "Well, you see, officer, I drove off the road because of that cute horse over there."
1 The urge is strong, and the tension is great, but I've managed to keep out of trouble. So far.
0 My urges are under full control, and while my thoughts may stray from the beaten path, no one knows about it unless I want them to.

For example, this zoo has his urges fully under control:

u0

Performing

Finish the sentence: "I can be sexually intimate with an animal...

4 ...in front of people who can be quite shocked by the sight."
3 ...in front of a group I know could handle it (e.g., fellow zoos)."
2 ...in front of another zoo or two."
1 ...in front of a very close person (e.g., a lover or spouse)."
 0 ...only in private."

Write a pr followed by your option. For example, this zoo feels he can be sexually intimate with an animal in front of another zoo or two:

pr2

Erotic dreams

An ed, followed by how many erotic dreams you've had on animals

3 I've had erotic dreams about non-humans more times than I can remember, and I can't wait to go to sleep, hoping to meet those special friend(s) in my dreams again!
2 I've had erotic dreams about non-humans many times.
1 I rarely have erotic dreams about non-humans, but I know I've had at least one.
0 I've never actually had an erotic dream about non-humans, but I'd like to.

For example, this zoo rarely has erotic dreams about non-humans:

ed1

Obsession with fantasy life

An f, followed by your obsession with fantasy life.

4 Every once in a while, some aspect of my real life interrupts my fantasy world. I really hate it when that happens.
3 I'm constantly daydreaming about animals or being with animals; it frequently interferes with my social life or work schedule.
2 I do have fantasies/daydreams, but they rarely interfere with my real life or my career.
1 My fantasies are well-controlled, and when I need to concentrate on something serious, I can shut them out completely.
0 I have little or no zoo fantasy life at all.

For example, this zoo is constantly daydreaming about animals:

f3
